It all started in 1984 when a few guys with a passion for beer set out to craft fresh, natural beers for Islanders to enjoy. As a craft brewery, we begin with the careful selection of the finest quality ingredients. Then with skill and patience we handcraft our family of natural, unpasteurized ales and lagers in small batches to allow their flavours to fully develop. Locally owned and operated in Victoria BC for over 25 years, Vancouver Island Brewery is the Island’s original craft brewery.
